Bericote is a niche commercial developer, specialising in occupier led development and the promotion and development of large sites around the UK. They are currently one of the most active developers in the industrial property sector, having developed over 2 million sq ft in the last 12 months.
They have a proven track record of delivering high quality schemes for blue-chip clients such as Ocado, Tesco, Rolls-Royce, Sainsbury’s and ASDA among others, all of which have resulted in significant job creation. They have recently opened a Manchester office to focus on the north-west market in addition to existing offices in London and Leamington Spa.

It is proposed to develop 135,000 sq. m. of industrial and distribution warehouses and create an extension to Haydock Industrial Estate. The proposals also include office space, car parking and improved access to the industrial estate.
The scheme is expected to bring significant employment opportunities to the area with the creation of at least 2,500 jobs. In addition, the development is forecast to generate in excess of £2m per year in business rate revenue for St. Helens Council.

Following an extremely successful public consultation, we have made a number of significant improvements to our proposals which can be seen here. The planning application has now been submitted but we will continue to listen to feedback and will incorporate any changes where possible so please get in touch if you have any further comments.
